The body of Nodar Kumaritashvili, the luger who was killed in a training accident at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, has arrived home in Georgia.

Draped in a Georgian flag, Kumaritashvili's coffin was carried through an honour guard of young athletes after arriving at Tbilisi airport and was presented to his family.

The 21 year old died at the weekend after he lost control of his sled and was flung off the Olympic luge track before crashing into a metal pillar.
