Danny Lee is sticking around for the weekend at the PGA Championship in New York.
Lee carded an even par round of 70 to go with his one under 69 on Thursday to have him in a share of 34th.
The 26-year-old is eight shots back from the leaders - Americans Jimmy Walker and Robert Streb, at nine under.
Streb carded a seven under 63 to tie the course record and grab a share of the lead while Walker, who was the first round leader, backed up his 65 on Thursday with a four under 66 on Friday.
World number one and defending champion Jason Day also went low in his second round, shooting a five under 65 to move him into a share of third with Argentina's Emiliano Grillo at seven under.
Open Champion Henrik Stenson is a shot back in fifth at six under while two-time major winner Martin Kaymer is in a tie for sixth.
