A man wearing a fake pass to the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver was apprehended when he attempted to get close to the U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.
The man was stopped when he attempted to approach the area where Biden was sitting, then apprehended when he attempted to flee.
Police sergeant Rich Graydon says Biden was never in danger.and no charges have been made against the unarmed man, whose mental health issues are believed to have prompted the incident.
