Rojas won the Johnny Warren medal as the league's player of the year in 2013, before leaving Victory to join German outfit Vfb Stuttgart.

The 24-year-old All White struggled to get on the park for Stuttgart and was loaned out to second-tier German side Greuther Furth plus Swiss club FC Thun in recent seasons.

Stuttgart and Rojas mutually agreed to terminate his contract earlier this week.

Victory announced on Thursday that Rojas, who made 50 appearances for the club from 2011-13, had signed a two-year deal.

"This is another significant signing for our club as we continue to prepare for the new A-League season," Victory coach Kevin Muscat said.

"We all know the quality Marco possesses. We're excited to see him return to Victory and I'm sure our fans will welcome him back."

Rojas scored 15 goals, won the Warren medal, the A-League Young Footballer of the Year award and Victory's Golden Boot award in a stellar 2012-13 campaign.

The Hamilton-born attacker started his A-League career with Wellington Phoenix and has earned 25 caps with the New Zealand national team.
