New Zealand shot putter Valerie Adams is back atop the podium less than two weeks after winning silver at the Olympics in Rio.
Adams won the Lausanne Diamond League meeting in Switzerland with a throw of 19.94 metres.
She beat the Olympic gold medallist, America's Michelle Carter, who managed a put of 19.49m for second.

Carter's win in Rio came when she threw a massive 20.63m with her final throw to beat Adams' earlier attempt of 20.42m.
