Jonelle Price is the best placed New Zealander after day one at the Burghley Horse Trials in England, though plenty of her compatriots are still to complete their dressage rounds.

Price is sixth on Classic Moet.

Germany's Bettina Hoy leads, with Australia's Bill Levett second and Great Britain's Paul Sims third.
