The Mainland Tactix have suffered another major setback with defender Jess Moulds out for up to eight months through injury.
Moulds has suffered a serious knee injury after rupturing ligaments while playing for New Zealand A against England in a practice match last week.
Mes trialled for the Silver Ferns last month but wasn't picked in Janine Southby's Silver Ferns squad for the Quad Nations competition.

Moulds injury comes the same week the Tactix lost their starting shooting combination of Silver Fern Bailey Mes and Malawi international Mwai Kumwenda.
Mes is returning to the Northern Mystics for next year's new domestic competition while Kumwenda is has reportedly signed with Australian side Melbourne Vixens.
