NZ football officials arrive in South Africa

A New Zealand Football delegation has arrived in South Africa for a 2-day workshop ahead of the World Cup in June.

The gathering of officials from all 32 participating nations in Sun City will cover all aspects of the tournament including security, marketing and logistics.

The New Zealand delegation which includes All Whites coach Ricki Herbert will then have a day at their base just outside Johannesburg.

Meanwhile anti-doping tests on players competing in the World Cup will start in April, two months ahead of the June 11th kick-off.

Teams are required to submit their whereabouts to the world football body by March 22nd with testing in training camps running from April 10th to June 10th.
