New Zealand Rugby (NZR) will continue to push for a change to the Super Rugby playoff format.

SANZAR announced this week that there would be no change to the competition in 2016, despite drawing plenty of criticism over the way the conference was played.
The set-up this year meant some teams did not meet during the season, while some teams hosted finals despite accumulating less points that their opponents.
NZR boss Steve Tew said they wanted a straight top eight playoff, but that idea was rejected by South Africa and Australia.
Tew said they would not give up.
"We think it would have produced a fairer finals result this year, but our partners think this year was an aberration and that we won't have four teams in the finals again and they don't want to make a change.

"It is disappointing that we couldn't get agreement from South Africa and Australia, we haven't completely given up and it's unlikely we'll get any substantial change in 2016 but if there are any changes for 2018 then that gives us an opportunity for further debate.
"We'll keep plugging away because we think it makes a lot more sense for there to be a straight top eight, it makes it a lot easier for the fans who can disregard the conferences."
New Zealand had four teams in the play-offs this year, with just the Hurricanes hosting a game in the first round.
