The Townsville Crocodiles have forced a deciding game three in the Australian National Basketball League semi-final series after thrashing Wollongong 82-53.

The Hawks had comfortably taken out game one at home 87-68, but the Crocs responded in kind at the Townsville Events Centre to keep their grand final hopes alive.

Townsville gun Corey Williams led all scorers with a game-high 23 points, while Rhys Martin notched 15 points for the Hawks.

Game three will be held back in Wollongong on Saturday, with the winner to face the Perth Wildcats in the title decider, after they swept the Gold Coast Blaze 2-0 in their semi-final series.
