New Zealand basketballer Steven Adams has got his new NBA season off to a winning start.
Adams' Okalhoma City Thunder team beat the Philadelphia 76ers 103-97 in a tight contest in Philadelphia.
The 23-year-old center made 16 points for the Thunder and grabbed five rebounds.
Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook was the top scorer in the game, he scored 32 points and 12 rebounds.
The 76ers top scorer on the night was Adams' opposite - Joel Embiid, who made 20 points and seven rebounds.
Oklahoma's next game in on Sunday against the Phoenix Suns at home.
