Ko off Japan pace

World golf number one Lydia Ko is off the pace after two days of the latest LPGA tour event in Japan.

After shooting a two-over par 74 on day one, the New Zealander picked up a stroke with Saturday's 71 to be one-over for the tournament at the mid-way stage.

Ko battled the Ibaraki course on day two, carding five birdies and four bogies.

The 19-year-old goes into round three tied for 52nd, 12 shots behind the leader Shanshan Feng of China.

Meanwhile, New Zealand golfers Danny Lee and Steven Alker were close to missing the cut at the latest event of the PGA tour in Las Vegas when the second round was suspended due to bad light.
