Three Penney triples in as many minutes to open the fourth quarter and some strong rebounding from towering centre Alex Pledger put the Bullets away as the Breakers won their third consecutive game.

The Breakers pushed the pace and ran countless pin-down screens for Penney (game-high 30 points) and Webster, while Pledger helped space the floor with strong picks and a presence on the glass.

When they weren't pushing the pace the Breakers found themselves bogged down in the half-court, but shot their way out of stagnation with a combined 8 for 14 three-pointers between Penney and back-up point guard Isaih Tueta.

Tueta gave the league a snapshot of what he could do in the Australian Basketball Challenge, and stepped up on the big stage for a career-high 13 points in extended minutes.

Seven-footer Pledger has become a new man over the space of two games, with a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double in Melbourne backed up with 12 points and 12 boards today.
