The Australia cricket legend Shane Warne has added his name to the ever-growing list of contenders to coach Australia in an upcoming home Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka.
Cricket Australia is looking for a caretaker T20 coach in February, when Darren Lehmann and the test squad will be in India preparing for for a four-Test series.
Former internationals Jason Gillespie, Ricky Ponting and Michael Hussey considered the leading candiates for the post.
