The Wellington Phoenix have made it two on the trot in this season's football A-League.
They beat the Central Coast Mariners 2-0 in Canberra tonight, to follow up their 2-0 defeat of Newcastle a week ago.
That was a sharp improvement on their start to the season, when they lost their first four games in a row.
The win came despite five players being absent - they helped in the All Whites' 2-0 defeat of New Caledonia in Auckland this afternoon.
