Chasing 264 for victory on Bert Sutcliffe Oval, New Zealand cruised to the target in the 44th over.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Pakistan scored 263 runs and lost six wickets in 50 overs as Bismah Maroof top scored for her country with 91 not out.

It was Pakistan's third-highest total in one-day cricket courtesy of a record third-wicket stand of 117 between Javeria Khan (73) and Maroof.

In reply, the White Ferns Suzie Bates (74) and Rachel Priest (22) had an opening stand of 60 before both were removed by Sana Mir.

First drop Satterthwaite (115) was joined by Katey Martin (50) who hit her fourth ODI century in five games in an unbroken third wicket partnership of 105.

New Zealand leads the five match series 3-0 with the two teams meeting again in Nelson on Thursday.
