Suspension, injury and form have forced All Blacks coach Steve Hansen to make several changes to his side for the final test of the year against France in Paris on Sunday morning.

There are two changes in the forward pack from last weekend's win over Ireland.

Jerome Kaino returns at blindside flanker in place of Liam Squire while Matt Todd is at openside flanker in place of the injured Sam Cane.

TJ Perenara's strong form has seen him oust Aaron Smith at halfback while Ryan Crotty returns from injury and to play at second five and Anton Leinert-Brown moves out one to centre to in place of the suspended Malakai Fekitoa.

With Ben Smith out injured, Israel Dagg moves from wing to fullback and Waisake Naholo comes in on the right wing.

"When it came to selecting this side, we had to make some changes because of injuries, but we also looked to pick the best side possible for what we think will be a titanic battle against the French," said coach Steve Hansen.

"It was a very physical match in Dublin on the weekend so we have looked to get this week's preparation spot on - both mentally and physically."

"They've improved immensely since the Rugby World Cup when we last played them, and...they'll be looking to finish their autumn season with a big performance."
