New Zealand golfers Danny Lee and Ryan Fox are well off the pace after the opening round of the World Cup of Golf in Melbourne.
The pair are in a tie for 22nd at three over par, six shots back from the Spanish leaders - Cabrera Bello and Jon Rahm.
Fox and Lee struggled to gel early in the round, they mixed five bogeys with just one birdie for a four over 39 on the front nine at the Kingston Heath Golf Club.
They came home with two birdies and a bogey to card a 75 in the first round of the foursomes.
The defending champions and hosts Australia didn't fare much better than their trans-Tasman neighbours, Adam Scott and Marc Leishman carded a two-over par 74 in their round to sit five shots back.
New Zealand tee off just before 11am this morning.
