Arsenal, Leicester and Manchester City will represent England in the knockout stage of European football's Champions League following the conclusion of group games.
Defending champions Real Madrid failed to win their group for the first time in four years as Borussia Dortmund to held them to a 2-2 draw, though both teams advanced.
Europa League champions Sevilla also progressed following a goalless draw with Lyon.
Premier League side Tottenham will play in the second-tier Europa League next season after finishing third in their group following a 3-1 win over CSKA Moscow.
Porto eased into the knockout stages with a 5-0 win over Leicester City's hapless second-string side, who suffered the heaviest defeat ever by an English side in the European Cup.
No English team had suffered such a huge loss in the 61-year annals of Europe's premier club competition and it was the worst reverse for any Premier League club in continental combat since Everton's 5-0 defeat, also in Portugal, at Benfica in the 2009-10 Europa League.
The winner of each group will be drawn against a runner-up, but teams cannot face a side from their own nation in the last 16, or a club they met in the group stage.
Group winners will play the first leg away and the second leg at home.
