The Black Caps coach Mike Hesson says strike bowlers Tim Southee and Trent Boult will be rotated during the one-day and T20 series with Bangladesh.

The first game in the three match one-day series is on Boxing Day in Christchurch, but during the following two weeks of limited overs cricket Southee and Boult will be rested.
"Trent wont play the third ODI or the start of the T20s and Tim wont be involved in the T20s at all just to prepare them for the Test series," said Hesson.
"It's always a balancing act with guys that play all three forms especially the bowlers," he said.
"We'll give them a chance to get their loads up so they're ready to go for the Test match."
The absence of Southee and Bolt opens the door for rookie pace bowler Lockie Ferguson to make his mark on the New Zealand summer.
The 25-year-old was given a baptism by fire earlier this month in Australia, where the Aucklander only took one wicket in two ODIs at an average of 123.

"It doesn't get tougher than what Lockie experienced in Australia but without Adam Milne we need to build up our stocks in terms of quick bowlers," said Hesson.
"Lockie certainly has got pace. He's also a quick learner. He's gone back to domestic cricket [where] he's been confident with his variations. He's bowling a really good bouncer at the moment too," he said.
"He'll certainly challenge the Bangladeshis hopefully with pace and a bit of swing with the new ball as well."
Hesson explained his rotation policy after admitting the Black Caps would be facing a team who are no longer the easy beats of world cricket.
"They've got a lot of really good performers and they've certainly performed a lot better away from home than four or five years ago. They're going to be a real challenge for us," he said.
The coach singled out the Bangladesh all rounder, Shakib Al Hasan, and the 21-year-old left arm quick bowler, Mustafizur Rahman, as posing the greatest threats to the Black Caps.
"He's certainly set the IPL alight with his variations," Hesson said of Rahman.
"He's one of the best bowlers in the world so we've got to treat him with a fair amount of respect that's for sure."
