The New Zealand Breakers take on the Kings tonight as the only ANBL team not to have beaten the Sydney side this season.

The two teams have met just once this season with the Kings prevailing 92-78 in their round three clash in Auckland.

Now in round 13, the Kings host the Breakers having won just two of their last eight games.

In contrast, the New Zealanders should be brimming with confidence having beaten rivals Perth in their last game 69-57, the Wildcats' second lowest score ever.

The Breakers are fifth on the ladder, one place below the Kings, but the visitors will play without injured veterans Corey Webster and Tom Abercrombie.

The pressure will be on their new signing Paul Carter, with the small forward needing to step up on debut for the Breakers to break into the top four play off places.

Tip off is at 9.30pm NZT.
