Ponting says he wishes he was part of Twenty-20 thriller

The Australia cricket captain Ricky Ponting is rested, enthusiastic and feeling at the top of his game ahead of the opening one dayer against New Zealand in Napier today.

Ponting's one of five players to join the side after the drawn Twenty-20 series.

Ponting scored 141 not out in his last game at the tiny McLean Park in 2005, and averages over 58 in one dayers aginst New Zealand, 15 runs higher than overall career average.

He say he's raring to go after watching from Napier as Australia lost in extra time in Sunday's T20 clash in Christchurch.
