The post season of the Australian Basketball league is out of reach for the New Zealand Breakers, after the Perth Wildcats defeated Melbourne United 96-94.

Perth progress to a best of three semi-final series against the Cairns Taipans while the Adelaide 36ers and the Illawarra Hawks square off in the other series.
The Breakers finished the season in fifth place on the eight team ladder with 14 wins from 28 games.
