The Hearts posted 233 for six thanks to White Fern Katie Perkins second List A one-day century.

In reply, the White Fern Kate Ebrahim (née Broadmore) posted an unbeaten century, though she was initially unaware she had hit three figures as she struck the winning runs in the 48th over.

The Canterbury captain Frances Mackay played with a broken thumb suffered during her team's loss yesterday in the national Twenty20 final to the Otago Sparks.

The five run victory in Rangiora marked the first time the Sparks had lifted the T20 trophy.
