Britain's formula one legend Stirling Moss is recovering in hospital after breaking several bones when he fell three floors down a lift shaft.
The 80-year-old Moss broke both ankles, four bones in his feet, and chipped four vertebrae in the accident at his central London home.
The lift had stopped a floor above Moss but his doors opened and he stepped into space.
He's reported to be comfortable after surgery and well on the way to recovery.
