Paddon and his co-driver John Kennard have dropped from fifth to seventh after the second day of racing.

"Nevertheless we're still here. The guys are going to work hard overnight to try and rectify the problems so we can come back out tomorrow," said Paddon.

"We've seen the conditions are very tough, it's going to be very hard. A long day tomorrow, so we're still right in this. We'll solve the things tonight and come back out fighting tomorrow."

Hayden Paddon was two minutes behind the British leader, Kris Meeke.
