The pair have worked together since 2005, Kennard's last time in the passenger's seat will be at Rally Finland in July.

Kennard, who's the oldest co-driver to win a World Rally Championship event when he and Paddon won at Rally Argentina last year, said the time is right to step away from the 12-year partnership.

Paddon said he and Kennard had been mulling the decision for a while.

The 29-year-old is set on winning the WRC in 2018 and says parting ways with Kennard now will give the new co-driver enough time to come to grips with Paddon and his car.
