The Wellington Phoenix have dismissed reports they've offered former England international Stuart Pearce the club's head coaches role.

The 54-year-old has been shopped around the A-League's vacant management jobs, but the Adelaide Advertiser, citing English sources, reported Peace was mulling over a deal from the Phoenix.
However the club have denied the reports, with general manger David Dome saying they haven't even spoken with Pearce, let alone offered him a job.
Dome says the Phoenix received Pearce's CV but decided not to pursue it further.
Incumbent coaches Des Buckingham and Chris Greenacre were interviewed individually last week for the head coaching job.
The club expects to make a decision before the end of next month.
