New Zealand has won two gold medals at the Hungary World Cup Canoe Sport regatta.

The New Zealanders continued their outstanding form from Portugal a week ago, winning the K2 500 and K4 500 in slashing style.

Carrington again won the K2 500, this time with the K1 500 gold medallist from Portugal, Caitlin Ryan.

She then joined Ryan, Aimee Fisher and Kayla Imrie to win their second K4 500 World Cup gold medal.

Fisher finished second in the K1 200.

"Every time we jump into that boat I think we learn some more and we progress further," Imrie said.

Lisa Carrington was second in the K1 500 yesterday.

It was her first regatta of the season in a single boat.

The New Zealand team will head home with six gold medals and two silver after the two World Cup events.
