Black Caps opener Martin Guptil says their last two Champions Trophy warm-up games show how they should and shouldn't bat.
The New Zealanders beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in their last warm-up match in Birmingham.
After being put into bat Sri Lanka scored 356 for 8 with Upul Tharanga scoring a century while Trent Boult and Tim Southee took 2 wickets each.
The Black Caps played 14 players in the field with 9 of them having a bowl.
In reply, New Zealand reached their target with 23 balls to spare, finishing on 359 for 4.
Martin Guptil retired after scoring 116, Kane Williamson also retired after his 88 and Corey Anderson finished the job with an unbeaten half century.
Guptil is sure they're on the rise ahead of Friday night's opener against Australia.
"Obviously the game against India wasn't ideal we didnt put in th best preformance but we really turned that around and put on a good on today.
"There's one more training until the first game so the boys will be training as hard as they can," Guptill said.
