McCartney saw a specialist in Germany today about an achilles injury that's affected her recent outings on the European circuit.

Her manager Scott Newman says fortunetly there is no injury to the achilles and she is instead suffering from tendonitis.

McCartney managed just one cleareance in finishing eighth at the Diamond League meeting in Stockholm on Monday, while last week she failed to record a height in Oslo.

Newman says she's been told to rest which is likely to prevent her from competing at a World Challenger event in the Czech Republic next week.

He says the Rio Olympic bronze medalist still hopes to compete in her next Diamond League meeting in London in early July.

Her main aim for the year is the World Championships in London in August.
