India made 265 off their 50 overs while the White Ferns were all out for 79.

Indian captain Mithali Raj spearheaded her side's innings, making 109 while Harmanpreet Kaur and Veda Krishnamurthy pitched in with 60 and 70 respectively.

Only three New Zeland batswomen made it to double figures with vice captain Amy Satterthwaite top scoring on 26.

The White Ferns were all out by the 25th over, bringing a disappointing end to their campaign.

The result leaves New Zealand in fifth place on the ladder, while India join Australia, England and South Africa in the semi finals.
