Ko just makes cut at British Open

Lydia Ko has just managed to make the cut in the British Open in Scotland with a two-under par 70 in the second round in Scotland.

After returning to the clubhouse at one-under par for the tournament, Ko looked destined to miss the cut for the second straight week, but was fortunate as others in the field dropped shots to allow her to make the weekend on the number.

For the second round in a row it was her putter that let her down as she hit 10/14 fairways and 16/18 greens but needed 32 putts to complete the round.

She's 10 shots behind the leader, South Korea's IK Kim, who carded a four under par 68 in the second round and is two strokes ahead of Englishwoman Georgia Hall and American Lexi Thompson.
