The All Whites World Cup qualifier against Peru has been thrown into doubt with media reports in South America suggesting Chile may appeal Peru's qualification for the play off spot.
Peru and Colombia drew 1-1 while Chile lost 3-0 to Brazil on the final day of matches in South American confederation.
The draw meant Colombia gained automatic qualification for the world cup in Russia next year while Peru went through to an inter-continental elimination match against New Zealand.

Colombia striker Radamel Falcao has admitted discussing with opposing midfielder Renato Tapia the fact a draw would send his side and Peru to the World Cup during Wednesday's match.
Tapia has told Panamericana TV that he discussed the result of the game but denied that any deal was brokered on the pitch.
"In the last five minutes, the Colombians approached us. They knew what the situation was in the other games," Tapia told Panamericana TV.
"So we managed the game as we needed to... I spoke with Radamel, who told me we were both qualified (as things stood), but it's football and we play to win."
Several South American media have published photos of the moment and dubbed it the 'Lima Pact'.
A New Zealand Football spokesperson said they were aware of the reports but had not had any indication from football's governing body FIFA as to whether Chile were lodging an appeal.
