The Cronulla Sharks coach Ricky Stuart accused some of his team of "throwing in the towel in" after Sunday's 40-12 NRL drubbing from Manly.
Although the Sharks have won just one match from their last 15 games, Stuart has applauded them till now for their work ethic and commitment.
But despite bagging some of his players yesterday he was also keen to stress that Manly's class won out in the end.
Manly's five-eighth Kieran Foran put his hand up for selection for New Zealand against Australia next month with a masterful display for the Sea Eagles.
The Auckland-born emerging star appears certain to partner Benji Marshall in the halves for the Kiwis after getting a taste of international football in last year's Four Nations series.
