Valerie Vili's new coach won't say how far he believes the Olympic and world shot put champion can throw.

Didier Poppe, a former French national coach, has started working with Vili who split with long time coach Kirsten Hellier last month.

Vili's best throw is 21.07 metres, more than a metre and a half shy of the world record set by Russian Natalya Lisovskaya in 1987.

Poppe says Vili's already an Olympic and world champion so there's only one goal left and they'll be concentrating on improving her speed in the throwing circle in an effort to improve her distance.
