It's a been a disappointing day for New Zealand's triathletes at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
In the men's race, Ryan Sissons finished 5th, Tayler Reid 11th and Tony Dodds 16th.

Sissons said he needed about 5-10 more seconds in the race.
"I executed the race how I wanted but didn't get the result on the podium. But that's racing."
Tayler Reid went into the run in first place, but soon dropped off the pace.
"I gave it my all but I'm gutted. I thought my legs could hold on for longer than that but my lungs were burning with that pace," he said.
"I was stoked to come out with a lead in the swim and bike but just couldn't keep up in the end."
The race was won by South Africa's Henri Schoeman. Australia's Jacob Birtwhistle took silver, while Scotlan's Marc Austin claimed bronze.
The women also finished down the field: Nicole van der Kaay was the best in 7th place, Rebecca Spence 10th and Andrea Hewitt 13th.
Hewitt who won a world cup event on the Gold Coast last year said "I'm really disappointed - my swim wasn't up there and I let myself get pushed around. I got isolated on the bike and had to do a lot of work."
Van der Kay was more upbeat about her performance.
"I'm pleased with myself. That swim was rough so was happy to come through - I held on as long as I could but the top guys had some extra gears in their legs. I wanted to be in there from the start, I did the best I could so im happy."

The winner was Flora Duffy of Bermuda who also had the honour of picking up the first gold of the games.
