The Chennai Super Kings are the champions of the 2010 Indian Premier League cricket competition after a 22-run win over the Mumbai Indians.

Chennai, coached by New Zealander Stephen Fleming, successfully defended a first-innings total of 168 for 5 to restrict Mumbai to just 146 for 9 and claim the title.

Suresh Raina was the top scorer in the final, smashing an unbeaten 57 off just 33 balls for Chennai in an innings including three fours and three sixes.

Indian great Sachin Tendulkar was the main man for the Indians, scoring 48 off 45.

Both teams have qualified for this year's Champions League Twenty20 tournament to be held in South Africa this September.
