Hosts West Indies still alive at Twenty20 World Cup

The West Indies are still alive as hosts of cricket's Twenty20 World Cup after beating India by 14 runs at Kensington Oval in Barbados.

The West Indies captain Chris Gayle made 98 off 66 balls in the home team's 169 for six and India ended at 155 for 9.

Both teams lost their opening games in the Super 8 round.

The match in that group this morning is Australia-Sri Lanka.
