The banned former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik has been cleared to play in a Twenty20 tournament in England next month.

Malik, who is serving a one-year ban imposed by Pakistan Cricket Board over disciplinary issues, has signed to play in a T20 tournament for Lancashire county next month.

He was one of seven top Pakistani players who were banned and fined by the PCB in the wake of the team's on and off-field problems during last summer's tour of Australia and New Zealand.
