McCartney pulled out of the Birmingham Diamond League meeting last weekend after injuring her foot.

She landed heavily on her feet after aborting an attempted vault.

The Olympic bronze medalist suffered bruising to her heel and has since had her foot in a moon boot.

The condition of the 21 year old has improved but she's not yet back to a point where she is able to run and train fully.

McCartney will miss a meeting in Germany this weekend but hopes to compete in the Diamond League finale in Zurich next week and then the Continental Cup in the Czech Republic a week after that.
