7:15 pm on 7 June 2010

The Boston Celtics basketball team has beaten the Los Angeles Lakers 103-94 in the second game of the 2010 NBA playoff series, to level the best-of-seven series 1-all.

The Celtics were ahead for much of the match, and at one stage lead the Lakers by 14-points.

The home team attempted a comeback in the final quarter, and despite briefly taking the lead, the Celtics were too strong for Los Angeles.

The Celtics' win was lead by guard Ray Allen, who scored 32 points, including an NBA Finals record of eight three-pointers.

The Celtics away win means the side takes an advantage into the next two games, which will be played in Boston.
