All Blacks coaches happy with squad's newcomers

There's likely to be a few players making their All Blacks debut against Ireland this weekend, with the New Zealand coaches happy with how the squad's newcomers have settled in.

First five Aaron Cruden, fullback Israel Dagg, centre Benson Stanley and loose forward Victor Vito were the new names in Graham Henry's 26-man squad announced last month.

The All Blacks backs' coach, Wayne Smith, says the new players have impressed the staff.

Smith says all four have made a significant contribution to the squad, and is confident they are ready for the next level of rugby.

The final 22 will be named tomorrow afternoon.
