Timana Tahu walks out

5:21 pm on 12 June 2010

The New South Wales rugby league winger Timana Tahu has walked out of the Blues State of Origin camp after objecting to remarks made by assistant coach Andrew Johns.

Johns wouldn't reveal what he said but says Tahu left because he thought the remarks were inappropriate and offensive.

He says he wasn't talking about Tahu and is really upset he's offended his former Newcastle team-mate.

Blues officials have called in Canberra's Joel Monaghan, as a emergency replacement just four days out from Origin two in Brisbane.
