Sweeping review for Blues

5:57 am on 18 June 2010

The New South Wales rugby league boss Geoff Carr says there will be a sweeping review of the State of Origin set-up in the wake of the side's fifth straight series loss to Queensland.

Carr says the standard end-of-series review will be widened with all aspects of the New South Wales campaign up for discussion.

Meanwhile the New South Wales forward Luke O'Donnell will miss the third and final match in the series after being suspended for three games for a dangerous tackle in last night's loss to Queensland in Brisbane.

O'Donnell entered an early guilty plea to the charge stemming from a spear tackle on Queensland winger Darius Boyd which sparked an all-in brawl.
