Langman says Magic have struggled to overcome key injury

The prospect of only one New Zealand side reaching the semi finals of the trans-Tasman netball competition looms large, going into final round robin phase of the competition this weekend.

The third-placed Southern Steel has all but confirmed a semi finals spot but the fourth placed Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic need to win in Rotorua tomorrow against the second place Adelaide Thunderbirds to advance.

Midcourter Laura Langman says the loss of former Australian international Peta Scholz midway through the season was a major blow and one which they've struggled to come to terms with.

The Queensland Firebirds can still make the top four if they beat the West Coast Fever and other results go their way.
