The Boston head coach Doc Rivers has agreed to return to the Celtics for a seventh NBA basketball season.
Rivers led the Celtics to their 17th NBA championship in 2008 but lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in a seven-game NBA Finals earlier this month.
Rivers, who coached in Orlando before moving to Boston for the 2004-05 season, has a career coaching record of 451-380.
