Woods in billion dollar divorce settlement

3:35 pm on 1 July 2010

The world golf number one Tiger Woods won't be allowed future girlfriends near his children in a reported billion dollar divorce settlement with Elin Nordegren.

The payout, reported by The Sun in London, says Woods can only introduce the couple's two children to a new woman if he marries her.

In exchange the paper says Nordegren's agreed to never speak publicly about his alleged affairs with up to 20 women.

Nordegren, will receive double the amount of money she orginally asked for after her lawyers proved Woods, was worth much more than she'd initially estimated.

The divorce is expected to be finalised in a week.
