Warriors run up 5th straight win

7:16 am on 19 July 2010

The Warriors are now looking at their bad run of injuries during this year's National Rugby League competition as a blessing in disguise.

This season, the side's lost a number of key players, including captain Simon Mannering, wing Brent Tate and prop Sam Rapira, to injury for several weeks at a time, forcing the younger players to step up.

The Warriors fullback, Lance Hohaia, says while it's been frustrating, it's actually helped the side into fifth position on the NRL ladder.

Hohaia says self-belief's a lot greater than it was at the start of the season as younger players who've had to step up have grown in confidence.

Lance Hohaia says almost everyone looks fit for the South Sydney game, and it could be Sam Rapira's first match back following his knee injury.
