Kankowski says bad start makes Boks more dangerous

The Springbok flanker Ryan Kankowski says South Africa's dreadful Tri-Nations start has made them more dangerous, and certainly hasn't left them vulnerable.

Kankowski says they're primed to show why they are the reigning Tri-Nations champions when they play Australia on Saturday night in Brisbane.

The Sharks number eight is a surprise selection on the aside of the scrum and replaces Francois Louw, who started there in New Zealand.

The World Cup holders' aura has diminished with consecutive losses to the All Blacks and to stay in the tournament they'll have to end a run of six defeats in Brisbane.

They haven't scored a try there in 13 years thiough and no side has won the Tri Nations after losing three matches.
